My Windows Media Player skin was designed to look as much as the real deal as possible - although keeping the professionality and functionality of MediaMonkey v3.0. This skin could easily be mistaken for being WMP11, but luckily this is MediaMonkey at it's best. The newest version (v1.3) features bug fixes and the long-awaited vertical player - in addition, the player's resources has been completely revamped!

You can activate the Vertical player by placing the taskbar either on the left or the right side of your screen - then you have to activate the MicroPlayer via 'Toolbars > MediaMonkey Player'.

I like WMP11 but MM3 has so much more features, now I have the best of both :))
like it but the left and center panels are missing the alternating lines which i find very useful and the right panel uses them but the blue isn't terribly attractive and either is the blue used for selceted items (or at least it doesn't match the theme). Other than that this is a very very nice skin.
I especially like the slim player which is the reason I looked for an alternative to gilded

basically i think you should include alternating stripes on the song lists (1 and 2) by default so users don't need to do their own work in the background image options
and the alternating lines on the right column should be changed so they have a better scheme like maybe a not-so-baby-blue with white (3)
lastly the selcted colour (4) looks a little off too i would change that too - i don't know it's up to you though

I would like to request a minor addition (or an explanation how to do it myself) that alternating rows in the track list area are "shaded" as in all default skins. This making reading the data across rows much easier on the eyes.

For some reason I am having problems with the "Now Playing" window in some skins. The top portion is blue and Now Playing is eligible. Otherwise, it looks pretty good. However, I still find myself using the default skin so far. Thanks.

Since the recently update to 1.3 I'm having problems with the Micro Player mode. When I start this mode, MM just disappears and just the systray icon is left but no Micro Player.
Dyou know anything I could do?
Sorry for my post, I just discovered the two buttons in the right bottom changed their function, the upper one minimizes MM to systray and the lower one shows the minimized MM player window ;-)
This is AWESOME, but I have one suggestion... (Edited: This only applies to "Album Art with Details view"): When a track is selected, the text is black and the highlight bar is dark blue. I can't read the text. I think this would look better if the text changed to white. The text seems to disappear when i select something now...

I can't seem to get the micro-skin to work -- it just minimizes to system tray. Of course this is true of the default skin either... and now that I think of it, I should probably find a different forum.

Hi there! IMO Media monkey is the best media player in terms of organization (good tagging especially) but it has got to be one of the ugliest.....urrrggghh. WMP has got to be the sxciest with the god damn fine glass.. lol. Ur current WMP skin looks great!!!!! but it only looks like the XP style... Hurry up and please make the vista WMP skin with the aero glass interface and button glow!!!! plz i beg u....
WTF is vertical player???? i read how to do it in a earlier post but i can't move the taskbar?? whaty is the taskbar??? isn't it the play bar @ the bottom??? plz reply... thnx

The Taskbar is the Windows Taskbar. Right click on the Taskbar and make sure "Lock the Taskbar" is UNchecked.
Click and hold the mouse button down on an empty spot on your bar and then you can drag it to the left or right side of your desktop, after which you can then lock the Taskbar in place if you like.

Just a question about the layout shown in your image. You have the album art in the top right and just below it the "Now Playing" list. In my install of the skin, I can't get this layout - instead, I get the album art showing up in the middle and the "Now Playing" list ends up on top of the directory listing view that's standard with MediaMonkey.
I'd appreciate it if you could let me know how you got this layout done. Perhaps I have to set that up in the default MediaMonkey skin first and then switch over to yours? Any help on this would be appreciated. :)
love the new version. I have only a small request .. it would be nice if you could add the bitrate in there, like its on the itunes skin. the only thing I'm missing ;)

Skin is great, but can U move buttons to control song(play,etc) to the right so there will be more space for song title. Now its annoying when songs with long title must bounce or scroll.

One problem for me -
The mini toolbar 'MediaMonkey Player' is missing the Seek Bar.
WMP11 has this and so do other skins on MediaMonkey - I find it really useful.
Apart from that it works great ;)

My bad, WMP11 does have it but only in that small little screen that pops up.
Is there any way of incorporating the seek bar? because I really like the skin.

I really like this skin but, given I have my taskbar docked at the right side of the screen, I would like to have microplayer horizontally.
However, even with the latest version of the skin I can only get it to appear vertically :-(

I love this skin. It's the ONLY one I've found that has a STOP button on the micro-player. Brilliant and the primary function I find useful.
Thakns for creating i like M 1 but MM3 got more when it comes to playing untagged files :)
Just use the folder tree, now thanks to this skin i can enjoy my music without id-tagging every download.

Few comments above someone asked if it is possible to add a shortcut to rate the song when the song is being played, just like in the default theme. Thats exactly what I missed when I tried your skin.
I really like that theme but the rating stars are important for me. Is it possible to add them in the bottom of the main window?
It's a great sikn! But in fact, I preferred the tracks window background as "lined", similarily like Now Playing window. I believe it was so it 1.1 version of the skin...

If the installation of this skin subsequently causes an input error that prevents you from executing any commands - including open program options for resetting the skin layout, try to "reinstall" the skin.
That worked for me since the installer file will load up program options directly.
Serious bug there.
I don't know how I've managed it, but.........
After re-installing Win7 64bit,I've lost the mini player in the toolbar, AGAIN!!
As in, I right click the toolbar, goto Toolbars, and there MediaMonkey, ISN'T!!!
Does anyone know what (stupid) thing I've missed, I mean I've had the option before.
Actually a nice little reg script will do me (I'll make one when I find out what I've missed, for future use)
